So from the last post I wasn't too excited about taking THAT much ibuprofen. Luckily my friend, former roommate, the reason I met my husband...found a solution for me - her husband! Eric is a Chiropractor (here's his blog and here's his website) and was gracious enough to open his office on a Saturday and see what he could do for me.
I'll admit that I was skeptical at first. Cracking one's back and neck seems a little too extreme for me but Eric explained it all. He gave me a solution (adjusting the back/hips/neck) that didn't require drugs and more drugs. Brandon was able to see how 'off' my hips were and how the adjustment brought them back into alignment.
Eric did warn that my body would fight the adjustment cause it was use to the other way. He even said my knees might hurt while running.
Well after the first 2 adjustments...nothing. I felt nothing, no increase of pain, no decrease of pain. I wondered if it was going to work. Than after the 3rd adjustment I finally felt something - a lot of pain! I was only half a mile into a run and it sucked! Eric advised me to stop running if it hurt but I pushed it for another mile. Why? Because I felt like a wimp for only running a half a mile plus pride was factored in there.
So the next day I
Thursday was declared 'Miracle Day' and Eric was declared 'Miracle Man'! I ran and ran and ran because there was no pain! Up the hills, down the hills, zipped past Brandon than back to check on him. I kept telling him...one more hill than I'll call it quits. I ran and ran until I realized something...running up hill was different.
My normal routine when running up the hills is to lean forward when I get tired. For some reason it pushes me up the last little bit. I know it's poor form but it worked for me...until now. Now I can't even lean forward. My body pushed back and forces me to pick up my knees. It keeps my posture in a neutral form and makes my legs work! I told Eric about it and he laughed and said 'I wonder if after all these adjustments, plus your running....you'll finally build up a butt!'
I never laughed so hard...Eric needs to sell that as a bonus for flat-butt people seeing a Chiropractor - I'll make your butt grow!

I'm glad your back is feeling better. If I could afford chiropractic care, I would be there everyday (they let me).
So what's his advice for getting rid of extra butt? :)
Awesome potential side effect of chiropractic- I'll be sure to add it to our website here too! :) Actually I almost replied to your last post to tell you not to take all the dang meds and go to the chiropractor. So I'm glad you did!
