It's official...

The Pages are moving to Durham next month!

Brandon and I found the perfect place a couple of weekends ago. Wanna see it?

Here's the floorplan:
Yup...you're reading that right. It's a 2 bedroom, 2 bath , 2 story apartment! Yes we are 'apartment' living for one more year. We want to get to know the good and bad of Durham before buying a house.

Here's a picture of what the building looks like. We are on an end unit so only one neighbor on the side and no one above or below us! It's awesome!

We are also buying our first major appliance - a washer and dryer! I feel so grown up now! That was the other reason for this apartment...first floor washer/dryer access and we also have some big pieces of furniture to move. So hopefully moving will be easy with this 'first' floor apartment.

We will be sad to leave the safe, comfy, secure confines of Cary but you have to live on the edge at some point to experience life!

Plus Durham is not all that foreign to me:
- All of my long training runs have taken place in Duke Forest.
- I use to just go there for a Costco hotdog! (before they built the one in Raleigh)
- I've been to plenty of Durham Bulls baseball games! (It was our first date after Brandon and I decided to be exclusive!)
- Majority of my races are on that side of town!

So farewell Cary...you've been good to us! Hello Durham...we are the Pages and we're here to get to know ya!

I love Durham!!!!! I lived there before Decker and I got married. Sure, there are some sketchy parts, but let me tell you, there are some GREAT PEOPLE there too. Really fun running trails outside of Duke forest too, but I'm sure you'll find out for yourself. And...fantastic bar-b-que. Carolina style. Mmmm...we just may have to come and visit you guys.
